Retirement Announcement - Jamie Lewington

In 2021, I wrote to our clients explaining the evolution of the business and that Sam, Ryan and Dan were becoming equity owners of Lewington Wealth Management Ltd.

At the time, this was to enable me to have a better work-life balance and reduce my hours slightly. Although I never thought this moment would arrive, it has become clear to me that it is now time to reduce my commitments to the business even further; with this in mind, I will retire at the year's end.

After over 35 years in Financial Services, and 25 years since establishing Lewington Wealth Management, I have decided to prioritise my family and health. I have loved my career and running a company that manages the majority of our clients' wealth has been the greatest privilege and honour.

Our business has gone from strength to strength over recent years. The excellent Management Team that is in place, who have worked together for over 10 years: Sam, Ryan and Dan, are supported by our Advisers who have worked together for over 6 years (Ryan, Dan, Tom and Arjj) and Trainee Advisers (Ben and Toby), means that I can step back knowing that the business and, more importantly, our clients' financial affairs are in fantastic hands. The injection of youth into the Adviser talent also means the Practice will not only be on call to support our clients and their families through the rest of their lifetime but also to look after and advise the next generation. Of course, our superb Office and Admin Teams (many of whom have worked for the practice for over 10 years) will also remain unchanged and will continue supporting our clients and Advisers.

I have great confidence in making the decision I now have, knowing that a great team of trustworthy people will continue to look after our clients. 

It just leaves me to say how much I have enjoyed working with all of our clients and how sorry I am that I won't continue to be here to support them and their family's needs the way I have over the years. My family and I will remain clients of Lewington Wealth Management Ltd, and so I look forward to seeing you all at future events.
